
First, do not write anything during the 1st listening and answer the following questions:
– What is the video / audio about ?
– What type of video / audio is it ? (trailer, podcast, news report, documentary, interview, advertisement, etc.)
– Who is talking ? When ? Where ?

– Verbs, nouns, adjectives, all of the words that are emphasized
– Numbers, statistics, dates
– Words that will remind you of what is being said in general
– When you don’t have time to write everything draw a box for later and listen to the rest of the video, you will fill in this box later

– Before starting the last listening try to see if you are missing any information or details
– Draw boxes or question marks where you need more information
– Try to find the information you are missing during the last listening

Then you will have to write a summary of the video, do NOT invent or give your opinion during that part. Write down what the video is about and what is being said. Always start with a short presentation of the video / audio with all of the information you wrote during the 1st listening.
